Awareness of Apprenticeship Process

There is a need to increase the number of certified trades people in Nova Scotia. This page provides learning activities and resources promoting an awareness of the apprenticeship process and how the apprenticeship system works - these are just the seeds of a start, further input and suggestions are welcome!

INFORMATION: Learning activities to encourage further research, investigation, and explortaion of the apprenticeship process.

	EXPLORATION - Apprenticeship Process: This is a one-page printable worksheet activity to investigate the apprenticeship process.
	EXPLORATION GUIDE - Apprenticeship Process: This is a discussion guide for some of the questions addressed in the trade explortaion activity.
	PRACTICE WITH THE APPRENTICESHIP PROCESS - "Tradeopoly" Game Board: "Tradeopoly" is an interactive game that can be played in large or small groups to explain and give practice with some of the details of the apprenticeship process - this is the game board. You will also need a dice, board markers and a copy of the "Tradeopoly" logbook (included below).
	PRACTICE WITH THE APPRENTICESHIP PROCESS - "Tradeopoly" Logbook: This is the accompanying logbook needed to progress along the game board and complete the game.
